Springtime in Tallahassee

Springtime is the best time in Tallahassee with azaleas, dogwoods and redbuds in full bloom, the Springtime Tallahassee Parade rolling down Monroe Street, and Seminole baseball and softball in full swing.

The Osceola is pleased to bring Seminole sports news to Home & Yard Magazine, including suggestions for fan-friendly fun on these crisp, sunny spring afternoons. Seminole sports are as tough to beat as our weather with both the FSU baseball and softball teams ranked in the top 10 and talented golf and track athletes competing right in our backyard.

Spring sports are easy family fun and inexpensive too. Walk with the nationally ranked golf team or pull up a lawn chair at the 18th green to watch future PGA champions. Women’s softball is pure entertainment. The championship program brings joy to the diamond in song and cheer. A game ticket is best, but if you can’t score one, plop a lawn chair on the berm outside the left field fence, or enjoy the action from the parking garage overlooking JoAnne Graf Field.

While Doak Campbell Stadium construction precludes the spring football game this year, The Osceola staff will deliver daily practice reports and interviews for Home & Yard readers to access FREE on The Osceola’s YouTube channel or by signing up for The Osceola’s FREE morning emails using this link.
